A Message from our President

Dear ISCHR Member:

Welcome. Illinois Society for Cardiopulmonary Health and Rehabilitation is celebrating its Thirty-Eighth Anniversary. Our mission statement serves as a constant reminder to improve clinical practices, promote scientific inquiry, engage in dialogue between professionals, and advance education. We appreciate your dedication and commitment. The ISCHR Executive Committee and its members continue to seek out opportunities for continuous learning and feedback, adapting to new information and circumstances that challenge reimbursement, outcomes, and benchmarking our programs.

ISCHR is always looking for dedicated members who are willing to volunteer their time to support our mission. Through committees, our organization identifies opportunities to seek and act on multiple perspectives. Download and review the ISCHR Committee Description’s documents on our website. Please consider filling out a field of interest.

It is important to note that the ISCHR operates as an independent organization and entity. We remain dedicated to programs within the state of Illinois. Being a Joint Affiliate Member in AACVPR, our members of ISCHR are also members of the national AACVPR organization. This means that for one membership fee, you have access to all of the benefits of both organizations.

I would like to thank our membership for supporting and promoting our mission all these years. I would like to thank the Board of Directors and committee members for their tireless hours of volunteering their time and expertise to help others succeed.

I hope to see many familiar faces from Illinois in Louisville later this year at the national conference.

Respectfully yours,

Mary Kay Pittman

ISCHR President
